I play a lot of my granddad's old guitar when I'm in the states. The strings haven't been changed in maybe a decade and it only gets played during the summer (by me). It hurts to play and it is perpetually out of tune. But, it's my favourite instrument. I have been listening to my granddad play it my whole life, and when I started writing songs and making demos that's the guitar I would use.

I'm not sure why but I have this conviction that music can accomplish something. Even though no one really listens or gives a shit I still feel like there's something I can say that will make things better, or at least make people understand where I'm coming from. I don't know. I'm not that complex or anything but I still feel like people misinterpret what I'm trying to say. A guy came up to me after my set at fossgate social and told me it was "hilarious". I played body horror. I can't hack social interaction.
